At this point, the big wigs of Nigeria Football in attendance which includes NFF President Amaju Pinnick, Vice president Seyi Akinwumi, Aisha Falode, Randy Waldrum did not even attempt to calm the situation but hurriedly left the stadium. But for the timely intervention of the officials of Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens who prevailed on the angry mob to restore normalcy for the game to continue and thereafter wiskked the Referees away. The dramatic end of the match could not even allow for the regular post match interview because everyone had to seek for his or her safety.
